That means that many patients will have to wait to receive necessary\ntreatment. Are you one of them? Maintaining your dental hygiene through the quarantine\ncan prevent current dental issues from rapidly worsening and stop new ones from\ndeveloping. Here are some useful oral care tips to help you safeguard your\nteeth and gums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Examine Your Brushing Habits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Most people regularly brush their teeth, but not everyone\nbrushes their teeth correctly. Try to spend about 30 seconds cleaning each quadrant of your mouth.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Floss Nightly<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Flossing is essential because it cleans out the tight spaces\nbetween the teeth that your toothbrush cannot reach. Flossing at night is\nespecially important. If you do not floss as part of your bedtime routine, plaque\nand food particles can sit on your teeth overnight and will have a greater\nopportunity to do harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To make sure your flossing routine is truly beneficial, you\nshould:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Be gentle. <\/strong>Do not \u201csnap\u201d the floss\nbetween your teeth. Doing so could harm your gums.<\/li><li><strong>Floss the teeth, not just the spaces between\nthem.<\/strong> Instead of inserting your floss between your teeth and pulling it out\nright away, carefully move it along the sides of both teeth that surround the\nspace.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consider Using a Mouthwash<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A mouthwash can be a valuable addition to your oral hygiene\nroutine.
